This
group was democratically elected at a public meeting held in
the Parochial Hall on Monday May 15th 2006. This public meeting
had a huge turnout with a very positive vibe about the future
of Cappoquin from all present. The first official meeting was
held on 7th June 2006. The initial term for this committee is
18 months with a public meeting to be held in December 2007
to facilitate the re-election of existing members and the election
of new members. All elected members have pledged to their utmost
for Cappoquin as part of the Cappoquin Civic Link. The committee
have taken the following areas to work on for the initial period
of 18 months:

INTEGRATION
DISABILITY
THE RIVER AND OTHER NATURAL AMENITIES
